SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS
You will find it helpful at this time to re-organize your thoughts, intentions, and course of action to accommodate new elements that you have not considered. The challenge is to refrain from stubbornly clinging to the past and old ways of doing things. Be flexible and willing to move with the flow of My Spirit even when it feels strange or foreign, says the Lord.
Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
There is going to be a turnaround of a difficult or negative situation. Doug Addison
May 24, 2018. According to Scripture, “Taking off the old and putting on the new” is something you desperately want to do. Putting on the new is where you are having a challenge. You are doing well in taking off the old. When your mind goes to the old, you stop it from going further. Now, you are wanting the new, think “I love You God and will do what You say, I think of the good love You gave.”
Ephesians 4:22-24 (NIV) “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Bev Robinson
May 24, 2018. Many of you are familiar with the tune from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs which was “Whistle While You Work.” Do the people around you witness the joy of the Lord in you when you work? Can individuals see something glad about you, even if you have a difficult boss? Who are you working for? Is it Me, or for the money to pay your bills? I am Jehovah Jireh. I am your source of all things profitable!
1 Corinthians 15:58 (NLT) “So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” Kevin Robinson
May 24, 2018. Be careful how you treat other people. I sent My Son to die for ALL of humanity. No one is beyond My love. My Son’s death and resurrection was to provide every person with the opportunity to spend eternity with Me. No one and nothing is beyond the reach of My love. Nothing, except your choice to reject My Son, has the power to separate you from Me. My love is for everyone.
1 John 4:19-20 (NASB) “We love, because He first loved us. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.” Jonas Bohlin
