SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS
Refuse to allow unusual circumstances to dump you down into negative emotions. Take the time to get quiet and regain perspective. It is easy to get overwhelmed when you have to deal with things you do not fully understand. But, this is also an opportunity to do some much needed internal work and to grow spiritually. Trust Me to lead you through this maze, says the Lord.
Psalm 61:2 From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
July 13, 2018. Some news will come about some people you love. This news won’t be good news… in fact it will be disappointing news. You won’t know all of what happened for a while. So it won’t be good to take action until you have more solid information. What you do now is pray. I know all the facts and I know what to do and when to take action. Maintain your peace. I will say when to handle this.
Lamentations 3:25-26 (NASB) “The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.It is good that he waits silently for the salvation of the LORD.” Bev Robinson
July 13, 2018. I know it is said that seeing is believing. However, I want you to stretch your faith. Call out to Me for rain during a drought as Elijah did when he saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand rising up from the sea. Like the movie scene from “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, take the “leap of faith” to cross the deep chasm, as he did. Step out blindly, like many of your spiritual forefathers have done.
John 20:29 (TPT) “Jesus responded, “Thomas, now that you’ve seen Me, you believe. But there are those who have never seen Me with their eyes but have believed in Me with their hearts, and they will be blessed even more!” Kevin Robinson
July 13, 2018. And you shall be My witnesses to the ends of the earth! My son remained on earth for 33 years. He left giving charge to His disciples saying: go, make and teach disciples. I am throwing in My lot with you; I am trusting you with the salvation of the world. Yes, My son could have remained and could have done all the salvation work, but that was not My plan. I chose you to be My witnesses.
Matthew 28:19-20 (TLB)” Therefore go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this-that I am with you always, even to the end of the world.” Robin Robinson Bohlin
