October 1, 2020. Get into your mind and into your whole being the power of what you say. A powerful absolute Scripture is Proverbs 18:21 (NIV) which says the tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit. You can slay a person or build them up by what you say. Not only does it affect another person, or anything else, it affects you. The fruit will come back on you. Take this seriously.

October 1, 2020. How important is it for you to be a part of the “in” crowd? Do you place a lot of emphasis on what is popular and trendy in the here and now? Some have to be on the cutting-edge of what is happening all around them. Do you find yourself in that crowd? I am not about self-promotion, but rather self-denial. Be as enthusiastic about My kingdom as you are about fitting in. Repent and draw closer to Me.

October 1, 2020 What do you really want to see happen in your life? When you choose My way and My thoughts, you can ask for anything according to My will and it will be yours. King Solomon had the opportunity to ask for anything. In humility he asked Me for discernment to understand justice. Because of his humility, I gave him not only what he asked for, but also riches and honor unlike any king before him.
1 Kings 3:11-13 (NASB) God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice, behold, I have done according to your words.
