March 3, 2021. Silence is golden. Less is more. Do not cast your pearls before swine. All of these refer to the ability to keep your mouth closed. Do you have a running commentary on everything that happens? If you do, then you are not observed to be wise. A wise person knows when to and when not to speak. Do not love the sound of your voice – it is not pleasing to Me for you to have endless words.
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
Many of you, My people, need a time of restoration and refreshing. I have made that available to you, but you must quiet your soul and earnestly seek to receive this spiritual rain. You cannot be refreshed as long as you are still anxious and fretting. Calm down and trust Me with your life.
Zechariah 2:13 “Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!”
March 3, 2021. Something happened a while back and it is time for a celebration. This is not a celebration of something God did, but something Satan has set up for you to celebrate his ways. God wants you to put it behind you, just as the Apostle Paul did. He did not concentrate on what happened in his past. He put it behind him and pressed on into great things. Satan wants you to continually remain a victim, rehearsing the bad things which happened.
Philippians 3:13-14 (NASB) “Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
March 3, 2021. You see a way out of your difficult circumstances, while what I see is a way in. Some believers too often look for convenient means to escape from conditions which seem too hard to overcome instead of pressing through the tough times. Abraham believed and it was reckoned to him as righteousness in regards to Isaac’s sacrifice. Tough times don’t last, but determined people, full of belief, overcome hardships of all kinds. Practice persevering tenacity.
Hebrews 11:1-2 “The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this belief, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of belief is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.” Kevin Robinson
Proverbs 17:28 (NLV) “Even a fool, when he keeps quiet, is thought to be wise. When he closes his lips, he is thought of as a man of understanding.” Robin Robinson Bohlin
