SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND BY MARSHA BURNS:
Change is inevitable and necessary. Certain things will no longer meet your needs or expectations. This is an important time to let go of that which has outlived its useful purpose. Pay attention to the unction of My Spirit and proceed with assurance that I will show you the way forward.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
April 28, 2021. Success has not come like you had hoped. You had expected it but no, not this time. Success doesn’t always look like you think it is supposed to. You are right. It did not happen as you thought it would, but you are in the process of learning much from the experience. That is success. Continue to think about what has happened and I will continue to show you. Next time you will know what to do.
2 Timothy 1:7 (NASB77) “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.” Bev Robinson
April 28, 2021. The Bible has so many stories about establishment, hardship, occasional defeat and overwhelming victories time and again. In your mind’s eye, visualize a never-ending victorious parade with banners and award winning marching bands following close behind an assortment of colorful floats bringing back memories. Also, there are superstars scattered between the various processions. Jesus Christ, your Savior has won the victory. He has won. We are triumphant. You are His prize. Celebrate. Speak about your Champion.
Revelation 12:10-11 (KJV) “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Kevin Robinson
April 28, 2021. I see someone spinning and spinning. You think you’re spinning out of control but I say to you this day, think of the spinning in a different way. Imagine yourself having fun on a merry-go-round or dancing a twirl in a square dance. Both are spinning, but it’s spinning for fun. Each situation you encounter can be viewed in two ways: positive or negative. Choose the positive and you will begin to feel better about your situation.
Romans 5: 3-5 (TPT) “But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character and proven character leads us back to expectation. And this expectation is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us!” Robin Robinson Bohlin
