I would have you cast all your cares upon Me. Do it now. Don’t let another moment go, for I have better things for you. Don’t think about: I have enough; I don’t have enough. They love me; they don’t love me. Don’t take a thought about that.
There was a rich man who was a fool. He built big barns, filled them up and said, “Hey, I’m gonna kick back, retire and rest all of my days.” I came to him that night and said, “Thou fool, tonight your soul is required of you.” Woe to those who are rich in this life but are not rich towards Me.
If you are not rich towards Me when you have something, then you won’t be rich towards Me when you have nothing. But don’t think you will have anything if you are not rich towards Me. What am I speaking about? Relationship. Those who love Me honor Me. They know that only the fool says, “Today I’m going to do this and tomorrow I’m going to do that.” It is foolish thinking, for you know not what your life holds.
One day this is your source; another day the source is gone and another source comes up. I have made it that way, so that you do not keep looking to sources other than Me. You must look to Me as your source, for when you look to other things, I will cause them to dry up or disappear. Have you not seen that you loved someone else more than you loved Me? Someone was an idol, saith the Lord. You said, “Yes, this is my provision. My ship has come in.” Well, ships come and ships go. Some sink, don’t you know.
