SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS: Can you sense the change in the spiritual atmosphere? Prepare to truly leave the past behind and embrace that which is being made ready for your future. You have endured the difficulties of the present time and have trusted in Me nonetheless. That trust will be rewarded. Continue to stand strong in belief.
2 Chronicles 15:7 “But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!”
September 8, 2020. You’re looking for peace in wrong places. The world offers peace, but that’s not what you want. It soon runs out. My peace abides and brings more good with it. There is turbulence all around. It is possible for you to be in the middle and have peace. Like a hurricane, in the middle of the storm, there is an eye of peace. When you look up there is blue sky. That is what you want. I have it for you.
John 14:27 (NIV) “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Bev Robinson
September 8, 2020. When was the last time you made a conscious effort to thank Me for the positive outcomes to your prayers? On a similar note, have you taken time to thank Me for particular prayers that did not get answered? Setting aside some time for purposeful recollection of former times is helpful in more ways than you realize. It helps motivate you. Recalling breakthroughs invigorates your spirit. It stimulates praying more zealously. Remembering specific answered prayers increases tranquility.
Philippians 4:6-7 (TLB) “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” Kevin Robinson
September 8, 2020. My rest; what have you perceived is My rest. My rest is the peace of mind that comes by knowing that I direct your life in every area. My rest can be appropriated anywhere at any time. My rest is not dependent on the circumstances around you in your day-to-day life. It is dependent on your choice to trust Me to lead you in My ways and place My peace in your heart. Rest in Me today!
Matthew 11:28-30 (NASB) “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Jonas Bohlin
